Also, a three year old daughter of one of the victims, simply identified as Mrs Akintunde, died in the accident along with mother.
The incident was said to have happened along Lokoja-Ajaokuta highway Saturday evening while returning from a social engagement.

The people were said to be returning from a wedding ceremony of one of their colleagues in Anyigba when the vehicle conveying rammed into an ongoing trailer.
The victims were said to have died on the spot, while only one of the occupants of the vehicle was said to have sustained serious injuries.
The remains of the deceased have since been deposited at Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Lokoja mortuary.
