Mr Zakari Muhammad, the congresses committee Chairman, disclosed this during a press briefing on Tuesday in Katsina.
He said that at least one physically challenged person was elected into the party’s leadership in each of the 361 wards and 34 local governments in the state.
According to him, all party members were given the opportunity to contest without any hindrance.
The chairman dismissed as false, claims by the `APC Akida’ in the state that its members were not allowed to purchase forms to contest in the congresses.
‘’I am not aware of APC Akida, all I know is that we have sold forms to interested persons and all of them were allowed to contest.
‘’Though, in some places where there were consensus, some candidates stepped down for others to allow for their re-elections,’’ he said.
