3,907 rifles missing from Police formations, commands — Senate

Published by

A shocking report from the Public Account Committee of the Senate reveals that 3,907 firearms, mostly AK-47 rifles, have gone missing from police commands and formations across Nigeria.

This discovery was made after the Office of the Auditor-General of the Federation audited the books of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Senate Committee is currently sitting in Abuja to investigate this matter further.
