35th anniversary: MFM has transformed into formidable presence worldwide — Olukoya

Founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Prof. Daniel Olukoya has lauded the transformation of the Church since its establishment in 1989.

According to him, “MFM has transformed into formidable presence worldwide”.

Olukoya’s reaction comes on the heels of the Church’s 35th anniversary slated for August.

In a Facebook post Thursday, the MFM GO appreciated God for His faithfulness over the Church.

“Starting as a humble assembly of fewer than 25 faithful members, including my brothers who now serve as the assistant General Overseer of MFM, the church of God has transformed into a formidable presence worldwide.

“Like a sturdy oak tree, MFM has extended its reach across continents. As we celebrate this significant achievement, we recognize that our journey is far from over.

“Through heartfelt praise and worship, we pay homage to the Sovereign Ruler of all, knowing that MFM’s legacy will endure. Long live MFM!”

About MFM

MFM was founded by Daniel Kolawole Olukoya at a prayer meeting in 1989 in his living room.

The prayer group purchased a large site at an abandoned slum near the University of Lagos and converted it into the International Headquarters of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, of which Olukoya is the General Overseer. The first service there was on 24 April 1994.

From humble beginnings in the home of Olukoya, MFM branches spring up as one of the fastest-growing churches of this generation. International church branches first started in London before spreading to the United States, Canada, the rest of Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia. On every continent, MFM is profoundly visible and greatly impactful.
