THE chances of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Egor/Ikpoba Okha Federal Constituency in Edo state, Mr. Jude Ise-Idehen against his main opponent, Mr. Johnson Agbonayinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 16 election brightened yesterday following his endorsement by the Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP).
The coalition which is made up of 35 registered political parties hinged its support of Ise-Idehen against the incumbent, Agbonayinma, for being a democrat and very focused individual who has feelings for the masses going by the people-oriented projects he executed during his stint as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.

In a joint statement in Benin yesterday by the chairman, Dr. Samson Isibor and secretary, John Isidahome after its quarterly meeting, the duo said that as a major stakeholder, it is one of its duties to enlighten the people on those it believes will deliver the dividends of democracy to the people going by their antecedents.
Isibor and Isidahome remarked that after due consideration, the coalition resolved to support Ise-Idehen because of his sterling performance during his tenure as a state lawmaker.
The chairman and the scribe said that he built and renovated many schools, community boreholes, installation of electricity, transformers, empowerment by giving out tricycle, motorcycles, sewing machines and many other projects.
The statement added: “Now that he has been tried and tested and found capable, we the 35 political parties in the CRPP declared that Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen is our candidate, we will support him to win the election, we, therefore, implore our members and teeming supporters to cast their vote for him, he will not let you down.”
