THREE men were on Tuesday docked before a Badagry Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State for allegedly breaking into a building and attempting to rob with dangerous weapons.
Kamilu Mohammed, 26; Felix Alex, 28; and Henry Emma, 21, whose addresses were unknown are facing a two-count charge of breaking and entry and attempted robbery with dangerous weapons.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the offences.

The Prosecutor, ASP. Akpan Nkem told the court that the defendants committed the offences on June 23, at about 1:30 a.m. at Ilogbo Elegba Community, Ajangbadi area of Lagos.
Nkem said that the defendants broke into the building, No 1, Ilogbo Elegba, Ajangbadi area with the intent to commit a felony.
He said that they were found with dangerous weapons such as iron cutter, chisel and hammer which they intend to rob with.
“The offences contravened Sections 309 and 312 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015,’’ the prosecutor said.
The Magistrate, Mr Patrick Adekomaiya, granted the defendants bail of N200,000 each with two sureties in like sum.
He adjourned the case until Aug. 6, for mention.
