3 businesses benefit from JCI ODUA 2-day Mental Health and Business Discuss, Business Pitch

Junior Chamber International, Odua (JCI ODUA) in a 2 day event enlightened participants on mental health and business with an opportunity for entrepreneurs to win grants for their enterprise.

The MHASC which was a ZOOM event kick-started on the first day with mental health and Business discussions and on the second day with the business pitch from various businesses.

Tunji Babajide, Lead Consultant and representative of the partner firm Anti Suicide And Depression Squad (ASADS) enlightened the audience about good mental health. He explained how the organisation have been working so hard to educate people on Mental Health related issues.

Ene Ayegba, the representative of the Mentally Aware Nigeria initiative also talked about how the organisation have been affecting society on how to stay good mentally, also how it affects our day-to-day behaviour and how to solve these problems. She elaborated on many things that bring about mental health issues, she said it is part of things in you that you cannot see.

Representative of Bhadoosky , a media house partner, Bhadmu Habdulakeem shared the mission of the media house and explained how they use social media platforms to pass information across to people on how to curb issues that affect the society, and he further explained how to leverage social media to improve how we do things.

Tribune Online recalled that 23 entries were received all together, namely; Dabi’s Secret, ZeeBile Business, Prodigy Fashion Empire, Zhal Farms, Beautiful Reflection, Naadtour Africa, Topicaltest.ng, The AbbieStyling, Really Easi, Vee’s Kitchen, Priceless Enterprises POS, Reset Interiors, Waka Travel, Embedded Systems, Let’s Talk Social Impact, SMARTEX, Tebamifor Tola, OD Farms, Jutody Multi-Dynamics, Quroci Tech, MaRys Castle, Osaro Sarah, TK Exclusive

JCI Odua president, JCIN Amb. Hammed Lateef in his remark restated said, “We got over 120 registrations for the JCI ODUA Mental Health And Anti Suicide Campaign while about 50 participants were on the ground for the Mental Health Discuss and the Business Discuss on 23rd July, 2022 same as the business pitching on 30th July, 2022.

“We received about 26 entries for business pitch, only 23 scaled through as Business Proposals/Plans and we eventually have Zhal Farms, Vee’s Kitchen and Topicaltest.ng as the winners of JCI ODUA Mental Health and Business Grants,” he concluded.
