The suspects, Sabiu Popoola, Aliu Ajiroba and Jimoh Ijiola, were arrested by policemen attached to Ayetoro Division who were on a routine patrol of the Idagba Olodo area.
Popoola and Ajiroba were said to be riding on a Bajaj motorcycle with a bag containing two skulls at the time of their arrest.
The duo told the police upon interrogation that they collected the skulls from Ijiola who lives in the Erinpa area of the town.
Saturday Tribune gathered that the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ayetoro, CSP Makinde Kayode, ordered his men to arrest Ijiola, who then denied the claim of the two.
Ijiola, in a confessional statement, said they got the skulls from Benin Republic with the intention of using them for money rituals.
The case has been transferred to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.
