29-year-old man kills biological father in Niger

Tragedy struck in Barkin Sale community of Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger as a 29- year old man killed his biological father.

The tragic incident occurred in Barkin Sale New Extension community in Chanchaga LGA of Niger   State, where a young man allegedly killed his father and buried his remains within the compound of their residential building shortly after committing the crime.

Thereafter, Nigerian Tribune gathered that an elderly man, Malam Abubakar Adawa Tsonga, aged over 60 years old, was said to have been declared missing in the community since Monday, 28/07/2024, when was said to have been reportedly seen at home.

However, further checks revealed that sadly, on Tuesday,29/07/2024, the deceased’s remains were allegedly discovered buried in a cement sack within his compound.

Preliminary investigations by the Police Operatives at the Homicide section of the State Criminals Investigation Department were said to have revealed that his Biological son, Muzamir Abubakar, 29, was allegedly the prime suspect in the murder case.

It was further gathered that the body of the slain 60-year-old man was said to have been found with the head, legs, and some other vital body parts that were allegedly missing.

Nigerian Tribune further learned that the suspect has been arrested by the Police Operatives at the Police Operatives attached to Kpakungu Police Divisional  Headquarters under the state Police Command in Minna, Niger State Capital adding that the suspect was currently cooling his heels in Police custody at Kpakungu Police Division and assisting the Police Operatives with information about his dastardly act.
