Francoise is the granddaughter of the company’s founder, Eugene Schueller, and also the only child of her mother, Lillian Bettencourt — from whom Francoise took over L’Oréal after she died in 2017. 2. Alice Walton

Alice Walton was born on 7 October 1949 to the family of Sam Walton, the owner and founder of Walmart. As the only daughter of her father, Alice owns a huge stake in the company alongside her siblings, Rob and Jim. Her current net worth is 72.3 billion dollars which makes Alice the second richest woman in the world. She also owns a medical school called the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine.

3. Julia Koch

Julia Koch is an American businesswoman, socialite, and philanthropist born on 12 April 1962. Julia and her children inherited a 42% stake in Koch Industries (which has subsidiaries in energy and manufacturing) after her husband’s demise. 

Julia was once an assistant fashion designer who dressed high-profile clients such as Nancy Reagan before she got married to her husband, David. She is the president of the David H. Koch Foundation, involved in different medical research, arts, and education. Her estimated net worth is 64.3 billion dollars.

4. Jacqueline Mars

Jacqueline Mars is an American investor and heiress with a net worth of 38.5 billion dollars. She was born on 10 October 1939 to Forrest Mars and Audrey Ruth. She owns 30% of Mars Incorporated — a sweets and food empire. She is the granddaughter of Franklin Clarence Mars, founder of the company.
