2025 Budget: NASS Joint Committees to Appropriation to present report on January 2025

The Senate and House of Representatives Joint Committee on Appropriation will submit its report on the 2025 Appropriation Bill on January 31st, 2025, Nigerian Tribune can authoritatively reveal.

Further checks revealed that prior to the submission of the report by Joint Committee, an interactive session with the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Minister of Budget & Economic Planning and DG, Budget Office of the Federation would hold on January 7, 2025.

Confirming the development in a telephone interview with Nigerian Tribune, Chairman Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Yemi Adaramodu also revealed that relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) will defend their Budgets before joint Committee of Senate and House of Representatives on Appropriation effective from January 7, 2025.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu had on December 19, 2024 formally presented the N47 trillion 2025 budget before a joint session of both chambers of National Assembly.
