2024 international women power conference to hold in Abuja

The International Goodwill Ambassador Club is excited to announce the upcoming International Women Power Conference 2024 and Global Leading Women Awards, scheduled for October 25th at the ECOWAS Headquarters Main Conference Hall in Asokoro, Abuja.

Now in its ninth year, this event is part of the organization’s mission to uplift women leaders worldwide. Its sister event, the Africa Leading Women Conference and Awards, will take place in December at the Manchester Hilton in the UK, complementing the initiatives of this conference.

Since its inception, the International Women Power Conference and Global Leading Women Awards has celebrated and honored women dedicated to humanitarian services and philanthropic endeavors that benefit society. These exceptional leaders embody strength, resilience, and compassion, reflecting the values of the conference.

This year’s theme, “The Resilient Woman,” highlights the achievements of women who have made significant contributions across various fields, from social activism to business and beyond. The event will feature inspiring speakers, honorees, and thought leaders who have made notable efforts to improve lives and empower communities.

In a notable addition, the conference will host a Widows and Single Mothers Empowerment Program, aiming to empower over 500 vulnerable women. The conference serves as both a recognition platform and a source of inspiration for others to engage in meaningful acts of service.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Dr. Chris Oko Odey, the President and Founder of The International Goodwill Ambassador Club, expressed his enthusiasm for the conference. He emphasized the importance of fostering a global network of women change-makers committed to leading with empathy, innovation, and a vision for a better future.
