2023 Presidential election process was marred with lots of unbelievable irregularities – Equity International

The recently held 2023 Presidential election had lots of flaws and irregularities, The Country Director, Equity International Initiative, a civil society group, Ambassador Chris Iyama while briefing Journalists on Wednesday in Lagos has said that ” after our group monitored the election in many part of the country with over forty observers our findings discovered that there was lots of irregularities which was highly disappointing after INEC promised Nigerians to conduct free and free elections.

“The group called on the judiciary to live up to expectation in delivering fair judgement to all parties involved in the election Tribunal case that will give confidence to Nigerians to continue to believe in the Nigeria judicial system.

Mr Iyama added that the group wants the Independent National Electoral Commission to live up to expectation as they conduct this Saturday’s March 18th Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections.

Stating that INEC should make all necessary arrangements for a hitch free election that will encourage Nigerians to continue to believe in the electoral process.
