Godwin Emefiele, CBN Governor
As political activities continue to gather momentum, a coalition of 100 groups stormed Abuja to prevail on the current Governor of CBN, Dr Godwin Emfiele to declare for the presidency in 2023.
The group with the name, The Green Alliance Movement, at a rally in Abuja said it has a penchant to identify and fish out many detribalised Nigerians who have made a positive impact in the development of the country and ask them to vie for sensitive positions to continue the good work in the interest of entire Nigerians.
In his speech at the rally in Abuja, the Convener of the Green Alliance Movement, Wales Fapohunda said the group has found that Dr Godwin Emefiele has the competency and capacity to lead Nigeria to the promised land after President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
Fapohunda noted that the current crop of politicians have failed Nigeria hence the need for competent technocrats to occupy the highest seat of governance in the country to transform Nigeria for the better.
