The State’s publicity secretary of the party, Alhaji Malik Ibitoye, said this while speaking with newsmen, describing the APC led government in the state as the worst in recent times.
“We are going to Oke Mosan to make things better from 2019. The APC led government in Ogun State has destroyed the legacy of the founding fathers of the state and the people are calling for a real change. This is not the change the people wanted, they have been short-changed and they have had enough, which is why all hands are now pointing towards the direction of the PDP. The people want the PDP to take over in the state in 2019,” the Party Chieftain said.
Alhaji Malik Ibitoye, while describing the APC led government as the worst in recent times as it had failed to create a conducive environment for employment opportunities to thrive in the State with youth unemployment at its peak, he said Governor Ibikunle Amosun should forget about installing a successor from the APC, come 2019.

According to the PDP spokesperson, youth unemployment has been on the increase because the Government has concentrated all the resources of the State into the development of urban areas, especially in the State capital while neglecting the rural areas, thus encouraging large-scale rural-urban migration. He said with the total neglect of rural areas by the government, several roads in the rural areas in the state were in a terrible state, noting that this was making life difficult for rural dwellers.
