2019: Osun PDP chieftain, Babalola, hails Atiku

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun state, Dr Peter Babalola, has congratulated a former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on his victory at the recently held Presidential primary of the party in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Babalola made this known in a chat with our correspondent on Wednesday.

He said the victory of Atiku at the presidential primary of the party is a rescue mission to Nigerians saying the PDP would defeat the ruling party at the next year General elections.

The PDP bigwig therefore urged Nigerians to support and vote Alhaji Atiku and PDP in order for them to be rescued from what he described as maladministration of the present government at the centre.

According to him, “while I congratulate our able former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on his victory, I want to say that his candidature will serve as a rescue mission For the citizens of this country.

“Atiku would bring an end to the corruption and pains that APC has inflicted on Nigerians. This is the time to rebuild and rejuvenate this country and Alhaji Atiku is the credible and qualified man for the job,” Babalola said.
