The women leaders from the 13 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 18 Development Areas of the State, announced this on Tuesday in Lafia, while playing host to the aspirant at the PDP Secretariat.
Their representative, Stella Ogboshi, the State PDP Woman Leader, said Akwashiki has the required experience to govern the state as a governor, haven being former Member of the House of Representative, Senator and Minister of Information, should be given the chance to represent the party on behalf of the women in the state.
Mrs Ogboshi expressed optimism that if Akwashiki is given the ticket of the party and elected as the next governor, the state would be transformed positively in all ramifications.
On her part, Akwashiki who was a former Minister of information said she is not regretting been a woman.

She said that men should also give the women the chance to govern the state, adding that since the creation of the state, no woman has served as a governor.
The aspirant also promised to be fear to all by generating employment and develop all sector.
Akwashiki, therefore, promised to end the era of one woman in the state and tackle insecurity among others.
Earlier, Francis Orugu, State PDP Chairman expressed gratitude to the aspirant for recognising women. He assured all aspirants of a level playing field to realise their ambition divot of imposition.
The occasion was attended by the wife of the PDP Chairmen and women leaders from the 147 electoral wards.
