Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ogun State, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has sought for the support of his kinsmen to win the governorship election in 2019.
He made the appeal on Tuesday during the flag off of his campaign to the 236 wards in the state at Sawonjo in Yewa North Local Government Area of the state.
Isiaka noted that opposition parties had received fairly significant votes in previous elections from the area which he said must change in 2019 with overwhelmingly votes for his party.

“Work has start and we decided to start our campaign from Ogun west which is home to me. This election is not about polling unit voting. It is about having a landslide victory. Landslide victory because even other parties that are not of Ogun West have been sharing votes with us here; where we call home. This must change if truly we are tired of this backwardness and neglect.
“My message is not just for the people of Yewa-Awori but the generality of Ogun State citizens. Our people must be properly orientated this time around. They must not sell their tomorrow. We must all rise and do something. Anyone who cannot resist immediate gratification for more enduring dividends of democracy, is not only destroying today but mortgaging the future,” he noted.
Isiaka promised to bring the dividends of democracy to the area if elected into office, adding that his administration would give Ogun West a major facelift.
He, however, said a life of abundance would only be possible if voters elect a leader with a sincere heart and urged electorate not to sell their votes to desperate politicians.
