2019 elections: Young people movement drums support for Buhari

A political pressure group known as ‘Young People’s Support Movement for President Muhammadu Buhari’ has declared that it is going to conduct a ‘Match Rally’ in the six geopolitical zones of the country in order to drum up support for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general elections.

National Coordinator of the Movement, Comrade Anya S Anya disclosed this while addressing newsmen at a Press Conference in Bauchi saying that President Buhari deserved reelection to enable his consolidate on the gains of his administration and complete the uncompleted and abandoned projects of the past Government.

According to him, Nigeria has witnessed improvement in its economy, especially in measures taken to promote transparency and accountability in Government finances.

The National Coordinator said President Buhari has succeeded in tackling criminal activities in all the part of the country pointing out that the introduction of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) has assisted towards ensuring availability of funds for the execution of Government policies and programmes.

Comrade Anya Anya also noted that the present administration has built a confidence in foreign countries for investing their resources in the country’s economy.

The National Coordinator, therefore, called on the young people to participate fully in the reelection of President Muhammadu Buhari during the next year’s General elections.
