Prophet Omitade told TribuneChurch, in Ado Ekiti, that Nigeria was “a land full of honey and God-given glorious talents and Nigeria, land with most celebrated and outstanding black race”, but lamented that “it is saddening that fate has pushed her far away from the source of the truth.”
He said Nigeria’s resilience had been “tampered with by numerous gods of our personal beliefs,” but stated that “the much talked-about 2019 elections and its outcome shall teach political players and their supporters a hard lesson as to who really is controlling the affairs in Nigeria.
“On the aftermath of the results, everyone will know that the word of God is infallible and does not change with time,” pointing out that “the various believers in Nigeria: Christians, Muslims or traditional worshippers including monarchs, need prayers to avert an onslaught before, during and after the elections,.” he said.
Omitade, however, maintained that God’s ways were different from man’s ways, because “what will happen has already been decided in the spiritual by Gid himself and cannot be altered by any man”.
He said due to the dearth of honest and truthful spiritual guidance, Nigerians were being misled both spiritually and in many other ways to the detriment if the country and it’s people, saying: “if human beings stop praising God, he would raise up stones for this purpose and if able-bodied people fail in their responsibilities, God will strengthen the feeble to accomplish His purpose in Nigeria.”
Speaking on the political ambition of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, he advised that “he should tap brilliantly into the Nigerians in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, to do all that is possible within this dispensation to write his name in gold by concentrating more on legislative, life-changing reforms for the future of Nigeria, rather than chasing after a destiny outside his limits.”
“Nigeria is a city in the hand of God Almighty and cannot be destroyed,” saying “better future awaits us as we unite in faith and the time will come when people will realise that the labour of our heroes last shall never be in vain,”Omitade noted.
