He, however, calls on all youths organisation in the state to be peaceful, law-abiding and make use of their votes card and defend their votes from rigging in the forthcoming general election.

“The ministry of youths and sports have been doing well to sensitising, educating our youths to shun any political candidates who will come to give them money and then use them as thugs to commit so many atrocities in the state during the election.

I have told youths in this state that whenever the politicians come, they should insist they bring their own sons to work within the operations and by so doing, they will never come again and our election will be a peaceful one.”

Meanwhile,  applauding Governor David Umahi for the massive transformation in the State, the commissioner said Ebonyi state have experience madness in road construction, flyovers, empowerment and others. He then urged the Ebonyians to return the Governor unopposed with their voter’s card come 2019 gubernatorial election.

“Ebonyians should not be seeing politics as a do or die affairs or last hope. I urged Ebonyians to return Governor Umahi unopposed as a way of appreciating his good works and speed development of the state which has placed Ebonyi State to be among the best states in the country. Our Governor does not need opposition because he has done well in every aspect. Imagine in Ebonyi here, over 80% of youths have been empowered to different capacity and because of that I would say that  anyone trying to be an opposition should be taken to psychiatric because our workaholic governor has done more than his contemporaries all over the country.”

“I also urged Ebonyians to understand that the forthcoming general election is not the time to play bloody politics.”
