2019: Atiku will be elected President ― PDP Chieftain

Published by

AtikuAtikuA chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, has reaffirmed his earlier prediction that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and PDP presidential candidate will emerge president come 2019.

The ardent disciple of Atiku, in a joyous mood on the victory of Alhaji Abubakar Sunday, reaffirmed the prediction in Warri, Delta State.

Excited Chief Onuesoke had, in 2016, predicted that the former vice president would return to the party, emerge as PDP candidate as well as win the 2019 presidential election.

Reacting to the outcome of the presidential primary result, the PDP Chieftain said he was not surprised when Atiku dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return to the PDP, noting that the activities and actions of APC members had never aligned with his vision for Nigeria.

“I had predicted Alhaji Atiku’s movement back to PDP, which had happened, and I also made a prophetic statement that he will be the next Nigerian president in 2019, on the platform of the PDP.

“My two predictions had happened and I know come 2019, Alhaji Abubakar will be elected the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Atiku Abubakar is a man who loves Nigeria, and had, through his investments, empowered many Nigerians through employment.

“He knows how to return the economy to its productive state. The party, PDP, has made the right choice through a credible selection process.

“I congratulate him on the victory and I congratulate the party for conducting a free and fair process.

“I congratulate the rest who contested, now that the selection had been done, it’s time to start the work of reclaiming and redeeming Nigeria,” the former PDP governorship aspirant noted.

Former Vice President Abubakar, it will be recalled, had, on Sunday afternoon, scored the highest number of votes (1, 532 votes), followed by the governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwa, who polled 693 among Senator Bukola Saraki, and other nine equally-influential aspirants.
