2019: APGA members, aspirants charged to maintain united front

Published by

THE Governor Willie Obiano Support Group has implored members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) across the country who are aggrieved by the outcome of the recent primaries to take advantage of the reconciliation committees set up respectively by the National Executive Committee of the party and Governor Willie Obiano, to ameliorate their grouses.

The National Chairman of the Support Group, Chief Jude Emecheta, gave this advice after a crucial meeting of some stakeholders of the group yesterday in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Chief Emecheta maintained that no efforts should be spared to sustain the unity of APGA in order to guarantee its victory in Anambra State and other parts of Nigeria, especially the Southeast geopolitical zone in the 2019 general elections.

He assured that the Support Group would lend total support to all candidates of APGA who would eventually fly the party’s flag in the general elections.

The National Chairman maintained that the Governor Obiano deserves the support and cooperation of all genuine APGA faithful because of his good governance and impressive delivery of democracy dividends in Anambra state.

Chief Emecheta further maintained that all the party faithful should be united to ensure the survival of APGA as a political party which according to him has the interests of the people of the Southeast geopolitical zone at heart more than any other party in Nigeria.
