A Chief Magistrate Court, sitting in Osogbo, Osun State capital, on Monday ordered that two suspected cultists be remanded in Ilesa prison for allegedly shooting to death one Mrs Bintu Anifowose.

The two accused, namely Ridwan Akande (22) and Oluwagbotemi Oni (23) were arraigned on a 3-count charge, bothering on murder, unlawful possession of firearms and belonging to the secret cult group.

Presiding Magistrate Olubukola Awodele ordered that the duo be remanded in prison custody, considering the magnitude of the offences they allegedly committed.

The Police prosecutor, Inspector Joshua Oladoye informed the court that two suspects and others at large committed the offence on the 5th of August, 2017, April 7 around 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm respectively at Old Garage and Oke-Onitea areas of Osogbo.
