Tribune online gathered that the vehicle had 12 occupants as of the time of the accident, but 10 were rescued alive, while two died.
It was further learnt that the vehicle belonged to a police sergeant, and seven out of the 12 occupants were his immediate family members.
Confirming the accident to Tribune online, the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic and Compliance Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi, said the accident occurred around 9:16 p.m on Friday night, four adults and eight children were in the vehicle.
“However, an adult male and a female minor died in the accident,” the TRACE PRO said.
In another development, two women were, on Saturday, killed in a road traffic accident on the Lagos/Ibadan highway.
Tribune online learnt that the accident, which occurred around 8.35a.m at Fidiwo,/Ogunmakin diversion area on the highway, involved two Toyota Sienna vehicles with registration numbers LSD 266 CK and AGL 554 EA.
It was further learnt that the first vehicle with registration number LSD 266 CK, which was coming from Ibadan and heading to Lagos, had a brake failure, thereby resulting in loss of control before it rammed into the other vehicle, which was heading to Ibadan.

The TRACE PRO, Mr Akinbiyi, said four people were in the first vehicle, and the two occupants in the front seat, both women, lost their lives.
The PRO further confirmed that seven passengers who were in the second vehicle, as well as two other passengers in the first vehicle, sustained injuries, and had been taken to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital.
Mr Akinbiyi, therefore, urged drivers to drive with care at all times, while ensuring that their vehicles are in good condition.
