18 ships carrying various products expected at Lagos ports

THE Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says it is expecting 18 ships laden with petroleum products, food and other goods at Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports from Monday to March 18.

It stated this on Monday in its daily “Shipping Position’’ publication released in Lagos.

The NPA said that one of the 18 ships would sail in with petrol.

The other 17 ships, according to it, are carrying general cargo, bulk sugar, base oil, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, bulk salt, buckwheat and containers carrying different goods.

It also said that 15 ships with general cargo, container, aviation fuel and petrol, had arrived at the ports waiting to berth.
