14-year-old boy kills four in US school shooting

Published by

A 14-year-old boy killed four people and wounded nine, when he opened fire at a high school in the US state of Georgia on Wednesday, law enforcement said.

The suspect was identified as 14-year-old Colt Gray, a student at the school, Hosey said.

He was taken into custody alive on Wednesday. “He will be charged with murder and “handled” as an adult, Hosey added.

After the suspected shooter was brought to the attention of the FBI, the county sheriff’s office interviewed his father and the then 13-year-old suspect, who denied the threats, before flagging the child to school officials for monitoring.

A student, who witnessed the occasion, told local media that he saw blood on the floor and a body as he was led out of the building by authorities.
