THE Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kano State chapter has confirmed that an accident which occured in the early hours of Wednesday claimed the lives of 12 persons while 26 persons sustained various degree of injuries.
It would be recalled that an eyewitness told Tribune Online that many people lost their lives in the accident that occurred in Tsaida village near Gaya town in Kano State around 11 am.
Those who sustained injuries and the remains of the dead victims have been taken to Gaya General Hospital.

A reliable source disclosed that the accident involved three vehicles including a bus and two other saloon cars.
Information provided by the Public Relation Officer (PRO) of the corps the state, Kabir Daura, said 38 people were involved in the accident.
He listed the vehicles involved in the accident to include a V/W Golf and a Haice (Hummer), with registration number BBR690AA and KTG467YG, respectively.
