Jimi Agbaje
The two others that were excluded from participating in the chairmanship race in the coming December 9, 2017 PDP National Convention are former Oyo State governor, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja and his Ogun counterpart, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
Agbaje in his reaction said this was a democracy and, therefore, party members should be allowed the right to decide who should be their next chairman and not for anybody or group to hijack the process for whatever reasons.
The PDP chairmanship aspirant, who spoke through his Director, Media and Publicity, Mr. Felix Oboagwina, said: “This is democracy and people should have the right to elect who should be their national chairman and not for anybody to hijack the process for whatever purported reasons.”
“PDP should have learned lesson from its past mistakes and shun anti-democratic tendencies and not engage in any form of impunity,” Agbaja warned.
