10,000 PDP supporters to receive Ihedioha in Oguta Friday

NO fewer than 10,000 supporters and eligible voters from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be at hand to welcome the party’s governorship candidate and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Emeka Ihedioha, as he visits Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State, on Friday.

The PDP deputy governorship candidate in Imo State, Honourable Gerald Irona, made the disclosure in a press release issued on Wednesday by his communication adviser, Dr Walter Duru.

Irona, a former member of the lower chamber of the National Assembly, described the visit as a “triumphant entry” to the local government area and expressed confidence that PDP would coast home to victory in the governorship election in the state.

“I can confirm to you that the campaign train of Rt. Honourable Chukwuemeka Nkem Ihedioha will hit Oguta Local Government Area on Friday. The visit can best be likened to a triumphant entry, as the local government area is PDP.

“You can be sure that no fewer than 10,000 persons will be on the ground to receive the PDP delegation. Our incoming governor, Rt. Hon. Ihedioha is coming to interact with people of the local government area.

“He wants to discuss with our people on how best to make life more meaningful for the people. Oguta is PDP. We love Honourable Ihedioha. He is a listening leader. He is visionary. He is courageous and has the capacity to implement the blueprint to take Imo to the Promised Land,” the press release stated.
