10 years on, Dampte keeps waxing stronger

Nigerian-born and UK-based Afro Pop singer, Oluyole Oluwaseun, popularly known in the music circle and fans alike as Sean Dampte, is by all means revving up his game since he released the smash hit single ‘Wine Your Tinkolo’ which featured the  ‘I Like Girls’ crooner, YQ, exactly 10 years ago.

Ever since the debut of the ‘wine your Tinkolo’ single, Dampte has had different success stories to share concerning the successes the single has brought him and the acceptance of his growing influence in the music scene both here in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and beyond.

Sean Dampte has featured artistes such as Rayce in the single entitled ‘Alignment’, which we all loved and still love, said Abdulala of the then music group ‘Black Trybe’ of the smash ‘Million’.  And he continues to work with mainstream and big time producers in Nigeria, UK, Jamaica and the United States, including the notorious beat maker “Goldhands”.

And true to ratings, ‘No Be Joke’ – Track 3 off the EP, climbed up to become one of the Top 5 songs on iTunes charts Nigeria during the week. ‘ No be Joke’ produced by Joey Banks, mastered  by DXL da beat is a classic love ballad that is guaranteed to be a classic.
