The brand, with the partnership, will now wear the Foundation’s logo, as a sign of its endorsement by the Foundation, as a brand offering heart-friendly and complete nourishment.
Unveiling the partnership, in Lagos, over the weekend, the Managing Director, FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Mr Ben Langat, expressed the delight of the milk brand to partner with the Foundation in the promotion of healthy living among Nigerians.
According to him, the partnership had become very imperative due to the close link between diet and health, which the brand and the Foundation represent.
“It is a privilege to partner with the Nigerian Heart Foundation in promoting healthy options for consumers. We understand the important role food plays in reducing the risk of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) including cardiovascular diseases.
“It is because of the close link between diet and health that our company and the Nigerian Heart Foundation, have come together today to endorse Three Crowns as the heart-friendly milk brand,” he stated.
Langat, expressed the brand’s continued commitment to promoting, encouraging and empowering Nigerians to live healthily, as it marks its 30th anniversary of delivering complete nourishment to Nigerians.
He described the partnership as significant; since the milk brand would be the first in that market segment to be endorsed with the Nigerian Heart Foundation’s ‘Heart Check’ logo.
The FrieslandCampina WAMCO’s boss added that the 30th-anniversary celebration of the brand, in partnership with NHF, will be celebrated on different channels of communications to further engage consumers and trade partners.
