Shower before or after eating

I want to know which is better; to shower before or after eating.

Digestion requires a significant portion of the body’s blood supply to be routed to the stomach and intestines to absorb nutrients and power the churning muscles. Exposure to the hot water of a bath or shower triggers a thermoregulatory response.

To cool the body down, blood vessels in the skin dilate, and blood rushes to the surface of the body. This sudden vasodilation shifts blood away from the digestive tract, slowing gastric emptying and often resulting in bloating, cramping, and indigestion.

If you need to shower after eating, it will be advisable to use cold or very tepid water.
