Banana is a respectable source of vitamin C. It is an elongated edible fruit with manganese which is very good for the skin. The potassium in banana is also good for health and blood pressure.
Just as the name implies, bananas are the only thing you need for this icecream. Just make sure they are very ripe.
You, however, need other kitchen equipment such as:
Knife
Freezer safe container (bowl with cover)
Food processor/blender
Method
Peel the bananas and chop into small pieces. Then put them in an airtight container. Place the container in a freezer-safe container.
Freeze the banana pieces for at least two hours or if you have time, overnight, until solid.
When it is solid, pour the frozen banana pieces into a blender or a small food processor and blend.
A first, the banana will look crumbly, but keep blending until it gets smoother and the mixture shifts from blended banana to creamy, soft-serve ice cream texture. Blend for a few more seconds to aerate the ice cream.
You can eat it immediately or you can pour into a tight container and freeze until solid.
Bon appetit!
