This could involve learning a new language, a musical instrument, a new hobby like photography or drawing, or taking online courses. Activities such as crossword puzzles, Sudoku, jigsaw puzzles, chess, and card games require logical reasoning, planning, and attention to detail, which helps keep your mind sharp. Instead of passively absorbing information, actively engage with material by asking questions, summarizing key points, or writing down your analysis. Writing, in particular, forces vague thoughts into concrete ideas, enhancing clarity and memory.

Regular meditation can improve concentration, attention, and working memory while also reducing stress, which is a known factor in cognitive decline.
