I have been reading about some latest medical developments. Kindly let me know if this includes the ability of scientists to also cure HIV?

Currently, the condition caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) has no general cure, but antiretroviral therapy (ART) can effectively control the virus and allow people to live long, healthy lives. HIV cannot be completely eradicated from the body because it persists in HIV reservoirs, groups of cells where the virus remains inactive.

Even if ART suppresses the virus to undetectable levels in the blood, stopping treatment can allow the virus to reactivate and progress to AIDS. ART works by reducing viral replication, preventing immune system damage, and lowering the risk of transmission, but it must be taken daily for life to maintain control of the infection
