Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has commiserated with the government and people of Kaduna State, especially Zazzau Emirate, over the death of some worshippers following the collapse of a section of the Zaria Central Mosque.
Governor Umaru Bago, in a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the incident as heartbreaking and unfortunate.
While expressing sadness, the Governor, however, encouraged the people not to be dampened in the worship of Allah, but to remain steadfast in Him as nothing happens without His knowledge.
He also extended condolences to the grieving families and prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and for the quick recovery of the injured.
