Zamfara govt receives 55,920 doses of COVID-19 vaccine
The Zamfara State government has received a total of 55,920 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from the Federal government.
Speaking while receiving the vaccines, on Thursday, in Gusau, the state capital, Commissioner of Health, Alhaji Yahaya Mohammed Kanoma, disclosed that a total of 27,960 people would receive the vaccine in the state.
Kanoma further revealed that the first persons to receive the coronavirus vaccines would be the state front-liners which includes; health workers, traditional rulers, government officials.
According to the commissioner, the vaccine would be administered to persons of 18-year-old and above in the state.
