In a bid to switch on the strengths of young entrepreneurs, Derayo vocational limited, organised a programme tagged “SWITCH IT ON” for young entrepreneurs and youths generally to key into opportunities that would rebuild and reshape their ways to make life better, knowing that business networks determine one’s net worth.
Speaking at the event, held on Thursday at Alliance Francaise, Iyaganku road, Ibadan, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Derayo Vocational Limited, Miss Animasahun Aminat Aderayo, said that the essence of the programme was to groom and empower youths in fashion industry, as there is the need for more people to come on board and make use of the opportunities at hand with the right mindset to lead through.
“One of the visions of Derayo vocational limited is to build young entrepreneurs to become leaders, create the platform to switch it on of how to learn and get it right, as a matter of fact, the training organised today is free and there is more to come”, she said

In her statement on entrepreneurship, she said it is a lifestyle that needs passion and determination, because of the challenges one will face.
Speaking, one of the speakers, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jokelinks, Adejoke Lasisi, added that online and offline opportunities would help to improve in developing businesses, identify and build networks of potential buyers and partners.
The second keynote speaker, Mr Olugbenga Ogunbowale, also added that winning opportunities was very crucial. “One needs to be informed to inform, the ability to seek for opportunity specific to one’s line. However, it is important one should have mentor, surround oneself with intellects and most importantly, grow relationships”, he said
One of the participants, a fashion designer, Miss Rabiat Olowolabi Enitan, testified that the programme “SWITCH IT ON” was an opportunity to boost one’s business and also network with people. “It is an eye opener, I have gained the ability to pitch my business and surround myself with great minds”, she submitted.
