THE nation’s consumers, especially those in the beverage and juice segment of the market, have been sensitized on the need to make fruit juices part of their daily nutrition in order to enhance their wellness.
The advice was given at the 3rd Annual Chivita World Juice Day, tagged “Fruit Juice: Powering my Health My Way”, held recently in Lagos, and organized by the Chi Limited to deepen conversations on the consumption of fruit juices, towards enabling healthy living among Nigerians.
The Marketing Director of CHI Limited, Mrs. Toyin Nnodi stated that the focus for this year’s Chivita World Juice Day was to challenge consumers on the need to take control of their health on their own terms.
She added that one of the ways this can be achieved is by sensitizing consumers to the importance of fruit juices, and the need to include them in their daily nutrition menu.
“This year’s Chivita World Juice Day event also provides a platform to encourage delightful creativity with mixologists demonstrating new and exciting recipes of mocktails, mixes and blends with Chivita brands to boost your health,” she said.
One of the Guest Speakers and a Senior Dietician at the Lagos University Teaching, Ms. Patience Chimah in her presentation stated that the forum had become imperative since the advent of COVID 19 had made it mandatory for consumers to take proactive lifestyle steps towards promoting their wellness.
