Williams appointed Microsoft country manager, alumni association celebrates

The Alumni Association of The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, has congratulated its member, Mrs Olatomiwa Williams on her appointment as the new country manager for Microsoft. 

This was contained in a release signed by the association’s President and General Secretary, Dr Ayo Adeyemi and Saheed Akinwumi on Thursday.

The release reads: “It is with great pleasure and rousing applause that we received the news of your recent appointment as the Country Manager for Microsoft. 

“On behalf of the president, executives, trustees and the entire alumni of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, we extend our congratulatory message to you and pray for more wins in your career pursuits.

“You are a pride and worthy ambassador. We cherish the undeniable allegiance of your person in identifying with our great Alma Mater.”

Williams is a graduate of Computer Science from The Federal Polytechnic Offa and has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Liverpool. 

She joined Microsoft in the year 2010 as the Enterprise Voice Technology Specialist. She has also held various positions including Partner Technology Manager, Dynamics Partner Sales Executives as well as Account Technology Strategist. 

She has over 21 years of Information Technology experience which spans Solution Implementation, Solution Sales and Channels Management.
