Key members of President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, are scheduled to attend an international press conference in London, United Kingdom, where they will present the administration’s midterm achievements to a global audience.
The announcement was made on Tuesday in Abuja by Bode Adeyemi, Project Internal Coordinator of the President Bola Tinubu Midterm Legacy Projects Review Committee. According to Adeyemi, the conference is part of efforts to highlight the administration’s successes across various sectors within its first 24 months in office.

Other top officials expected at the event include the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Gbenga Komolafe; Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Usman Osidi; and the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zacheous Adedeji, among others.
Adeyemi described the Tinubu administration’s record as “unprecedented,” despite facing both domestic challenges and a difficult global economic climate.
“President Bola Tinubu’s government has made unprecedented achievements under twenty-four months of administration despite all the distractions and the global economic situation.
“We have painstakingly taken detailed records of all major achievements of this administration… Every well-meaning Nigerian and the international community should be proud of the Midas touch President Tinubu has given to Nigeria’s leadership,” he said.
He noted that the administration’s accomplishments have been compiled into a compendium and digitized into a website that will be launched during the conference.
He commended ministers, agency heads, and other officials for their roles in driving progress.
Speaking ahead of the event, Tunde Doherty, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) UK Chapter, said the conference aims to counter misinformation and tell the administration’s story accurately to the international community.
Doherty highlighted several achievements of the Tinubu presidency, including the commencement of operations at Nigerian and private refineries, the push for local government autonomy, construction of key infrastructure projects like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road and the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, debt repayment to the International Monetary Fund, removal of fuel subsidies, improved security, and a renewed commitment to the rule of law.
“These are landmark strides that will define President Tinubu’s legacy,” Doherty said.
“The international community deserves to hear the facts directly from those implementing the policies.”
The London press conference is part of a broader initiative to reshape global perception of Nigeria’s governance and attract support for ongoing reforms.
