For Nigeria’s foremost rapper, illbliss, the vanity of life keeps him humble all the time. Illbliss who is famously known as Oga Boss has been in the music industry for over a decade and endeared himself to the many music lovers, especially those who love his rap skills.
While some people rate him high as one of the most prolific music rappers in the country, illbliss believes his craft and contribution to the music industry over the years should speak for him all the time, saying that his focus has always been centered around people and making life easy for the man next door.
Illbliss is the owner of the talent managing outfit known as ‘The Goretti Company’, the company responsible for launching the careers of female music star, Chidinma and Enugu born-rapper, Phyno, among others.
Sharing his thoughts on Twitter about life and its emptiness, the chubby rapper, who made a debut in acting by starring in the movie King of Boys, produced by female music video and cinematographer, Kemi Adetiba, said many people spend most of their lives chasing vanity and dust.
The rapper urged his colleagues to focus on God and stop chasing the vanity of life, adding that “We will all pay for the ultimate cost.
“I am not perfect but very determined. I have always given it my best shot and I won’t stop now. Life is like scaffolds, as we rise let’s help the next up. Let’s also ensure we are balanced before the help topples you and slip,” he added.
