VICE President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has told electorate in Ogun State, to vote only candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Feb 16 and March 2 elections respectively.
He urged the people to be wary of those promoting candidates of other political parties for the elections.
Osinbajo said this on Tuesday while addressing stakeholders at a Town Hall meeting at the Palace of the Ebumawe of Ago -Iwoye, during his campaign tour of Ijebu North Local Government
The VP who spoke in Yoruba said anyone backing any candidate outside the APC should be ignored in its entirety.
He said, ” You must all go to the polls this Saturday and March 2 and cast your votes for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and the governorship candidate of APC, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
“Your votes must be massive, shun any form of division so that our party can conveniently coast home to victory.”
The VP might be apparently reacting to a comment made by the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday, during the party’s Presidential campaign rally, that, he would tell the people whom to vote for in the governorship election.
