VIDEO: We are coming to save you 2Baba — Teni

Published by

Nigerian music star Teniola Apata has publicly expressed support for fellow musician 2Baba, following the singer’s cryptic social media post pleading for help amid his ongoing marital controversy.

On Wednesday, 2Baba shared a brief message on his Instagram Story that read: “Help me.”

The post, which has since been deleted, marked his first public comment since the dispute with his wife, Edo State lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawaru, began trending online.

In response, Teni posted a video on her Instagram page, calling on the music community to rally around the veteran singer.

“2Baba, my legend, we’re coming to save you,” she said, also tagging fellow artistes Timaya and Kcee to join the show of support.

The drama reportedly escalated in the United Kingdom, where 2Baba and his wife allegedly had a heated dispute that drew police attention and resulted in a brief arrest.

The matter resurfaced during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze, where the couple reportedly argued publicly on camera.
