Popular Nigerian streamer, Habeeb Hamzat popularly known as Peller has completed the traditional marriage rites of his fiancée, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, also popularly known as Jarvis, after travelling to Benin City to pay her bride price.
The Peller bride price ceremony marks another milestone in the couple’s relationship, coming just weeks after he proposed to Jarvis in Ghana on June 3.
Peller shared the news on Sunday through his social media handle, confirming that the traditional rites had been concluded in Jarvis’ hometown in Benin City.
He wrote: “Today, I proudly paid the bride price of the woman I love.
“A beautiful journey has officially begun, and I’m grateful to both families for their blessings.
“She said “yes” to forever, and now it’s time to build our future together. Officially off the market.”
Tribune Online reports that Jarvis sparked reactions online after sharing her views on intimacy and commitment during a recent interview.
Speaking on the issue, she addressed questions about her relationship with Peller and what happens when he tries to get close to her at night.
Jarvis made it clear that certain boundaries remain in place and explained why.
“He hasn’t put money on my head,” she said, referencing the traditional bride price.
