VIDEO: Amid divorce saga, 2Baba proposes to Edo lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru

Published by

Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has been captured in a viral video proposing a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Natasha Osawaru.

The video, which surfaced on Thursday, came a day after the singer set social media abuzz when he publicly confirmed his romantic relationship with Osawaru, amid a divorce saga with his wife, Annie.

Tribune Online reports that 2Baba had earlier announced a shocking separation with Annie Idibia, in an Instagram post late January.

Addressing the condemnations that have trailed the saga and allegations against the Edo lawmaker of being responsible for the couple’s separation, 2Baba in a video on Tuesday, defended Natasha Osawaru.

Tribune Online reports that 2Baba, however, publicly confirmed his intention to marry the lawmaker.

“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker.

“She is a young brilliant amazing woman and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage.

“Yes I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”

In a recent video, the music icon and the Edo lawmaker were captured dancing together in the presence of some of their friends.

2Baba later proceeded to present Osawaru with a ring after which they were locked in a long embrace.
