A Winter Storm Watch is in effect across Maryland from Tuesday through early Wednesday morning, with snow accumulation expected to reach 4 to 6 inches in and around Baltimore. Snowfall totals will be lighter to the north near the Pennsylvania state line but could be higher to the south, particularly across Anne Arundel County and the eastern shore.
By early Wednesday, extreme northern Maryland, including northern Carroll, Baltimore, Harford, and Cecil counties, will see 2 to 4 inches of snow. Central Maryland along the I-70 corridor, including the Baltimore Beltway, will experience 4 to 6 inches.
The heaviest snow, ranging from 5 to 7 inches, will fall across southern neighbourhoods, including central and southern Anne Arundel County and areas on the eastern shore, including Talbot, Caroline, Kent, and Queen Anne’s counties.
