In a grand celebration of academic brilliance, the University of Mediterranean Karpasia held its highly anticipated 2023 Scientific Achievement Awards during the university’s 2024 graduation ceremony, which took place on July 3, 2024. The event was dedicated to recognizing and appreciating the outstanding performance of the university’s academic staff in various fields of research and publication.
This year’s awards, presented across multiple categories, reflected the institution’s deep commitment to encouraging scholarly excellence and global research visibility. Among the distinguished honorees was Dr. Opeoluwa Seun Ojekemi, a Nigerian academic from Osun State, who received the Most International Academic Publication Award.
Dr. Ojekemi’s recognition marks a proud moment not only for the university but also for the Nigerian academic community, showcasing the impactful contributions of Nigerian scholars in the global academic space. His award was accompanied by a stipend, presented as a token of appreciation for his outstanding academic contributions.
In a joyous and symbolic moment during the ceremony, Mr. Ahmet Erbaş, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, personally handed over the award to Dr. Ojekemi with a warm handshake, commending him for his exceptional achievements.
