THE 13th Governing Council of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) has extended the tenure of the Registrar of the university, Chief Monday Danjem, for an additional one year.
Deputy Registrar Information and Publications of the university, Abdullahi Abdullahi, who disclosed this to the Nigerian Tribune, said the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Prince Tony Momoh on behalf of the governing council, considered the favourable recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Seddi Sebastian Maimako and approved the extension of the registrar’s tenure with effect from June 24, 2021 for a period of one year.
In a letter to the registrar conveying the decision of the governing council to extend his tenure, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Maimako noted that the council took the decision, having considered and reviewed the performance of the registrar after being found competent, dependable and hardworking.
